Subhash Ghai, the filmmaker behind the iconic Bollywood film 'Khal Nayak,' 30 years after its release, recalls that the movie was supposed to be an art cinema, but they went all out to create a larger than life experience. Ghai also revealed that he was extremely disturbed when Sanjay Dutt, who played the film's lead, was arrested during the time of filming. Despite the film's success, Ghai explains that he faced many hurdles, including competition from other films and protests against controversial songs.
