Dimple Khanna had also shared a humorous anecdote about Akshay’s mischievous side. She recounted a time when he tricked her into attending a surprise birthday party for her 50th birthday. Akshay had concocted a story about needing her company to meet Sonia Gandhi, which led Dimple to his home under false pretenses “So I come in and there’s a huge party for me, it’s my 50th. And he pulls this off with me every time,” she recalled with a laugh.
